A custom built track bicycle, made to order. The frame is brazed and painted in Hackney then paired with a copper plated front fork
Comprised of a track frame made from scratch in our Hackney workshop using Columbus Chromor tubing and fleur de lis lugs. The frame is painted one of four colours down the road in Clapton while the fork is copper-plated in West London then lacquered to preserve its finish.
The frame is made to your exact size. Accordingly we need to know your height and inside leg measurement, plus your choice of handlebar, to give you an accurate sizing.
Wheels: Double-walled Ambrosio rims with sealed bearing Sturmey Archer track hubs, double butted spokes built in Islington. These wheels are fitted with Panaracer Pasela PT Tyres in 700x25.
Handlebars: Bullhorn for an all-around ride, Moustache for something a little lower or Porteur for something a little more upright.
Gearing: Available with either a SRAM automatic 2 speed rear hub or a single speed freewheel.
Frame: Track frame made of Columbus Chromor steel and fleur de lis lugs painted either grey, indigo or black, paired with a copper plated front fork.
Saddle: Brooks Cambium in either natural, rust or black. Made of cotton and rubber it is totally vegetarian.
The total weight of the bicycle varies between 8 and 10 kilos depending on the size and speed.
